Mt Kenya National Park is located in the eastern part of Kenya, it is located near Mt Kenya the largest mountain in Kenya and the second-largest in Africa. The Kenyan coast, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s gate, Nakuru national park , lake Naivasha ,Mt Kenya and Masai Mara are one of the most tourist attractive sites in Kenya. The park has impressive landscapes with rugged glacier summits, alpine moorlands and a diverse range of forests that show a variety of ecological environs.
If you want to get to the park, there are two ways you can use. The first is through the Nanyuki – Isiolo Highway and the other route is through Meru on the Embu – Meru Highway which is about 150km from Nairobi.
Alternatively, you can reach in the park by air too, by landing in the nearest airstrip from Nairobi. However the airstrip is located in Nanyuki, so from their you will need to drive. You can tour guides with their vehicles in the airstrip who can take you the park on a fee.
